Ginger Creek is a small neighborhood consisting of just 101 homes. With a cultural spread amongst our residents all are welcomed to live in this tidy corner of a fast growing East Orlando. Backing onto undeveloped lands owned by UCF (The University of Central Florida) the main campus of which lies just approx 1 mile from us.
We are close to several local schools. Local amenities include Waterford Lakes shopping complex the largest open air shopping mall in the eastern USA. Avalon Park is also close by as is Oviedo giving residents ample shopping and service variety. Easy access to highway 50 makes getting to the beautiful Florida coastline just a short 40 minutes drive where many varied opportunities await, from visiting the NASA space center, fishing and of course the famous Cocoa Beach. Orlando is the attractions center of the USA with the 4 Disney Parks and Universal supported by Sea World , Leggo Land and many other fun parks. Daytona and Tampa on opposite coasts are within easy driving distance for daytime visits. Residents here are often treated to visits from the plentiful wildlife especially deer .
For the sports minded many golf courses are a feature of Central Florida of course the beaches offer plentiful surfing and fishing is very popular . UCF provides ample opportunity to see College football just 10 minutes drive from Ginger Creek or just sit outside and hear the on field comments ( ' And that's another First Down to UCF ')
Administered by a self managed HOA board we work diligently to keep our neighborhood looking neat, tide and appealing.
